I like rural places. We used to call it, "getting away from it all" if I remember correctly. Now you can't actually get away from it all unless you toss your cell phone, tablet, and computer. Still, you can go to the Schist Villages and hike the paths the rural doctors used to use to get from village to village. You can do some fab mountain biking, and the river beaches will astound you.
